{"id":2632,"date":"2022-01-24T14:11:26","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T14:11:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/modern-workplace.uk\/?p=2632"},"modified":"2022-02-04T12:33:27","modified_gmt":"2022-02-04T12:33:27","slug":"teams-virtual-sbc-closing-azure-network-ports-warnings-for-azureloadbalancer-and-virtualnetwork-2-2-2-2-3-2-3-2-2-2-2-2-3-2-2-3-2-3-2-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/modern-workplace.uk\/?p=2632","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft Teams &#8211; Having a Good Camera to Fix Poor Lighting Quality"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As more and more <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\"><strong>Teams <\/strong><\/span>meetings include a video call now, there is still one aspect of the meetings that is still often overlooked \u2014 <span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\"><strong>lighting quality<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In our homes or offices, it is not too complex to fix the lighting quality with some proper additional lights, if we have a meeting from a different location the main tool that we have is our webcam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The problem is usually having not enough light in the room, which creates harsh shadows, backlit and other issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">I wanted to show here the difference between a good camera and a camera that has also the capability to perform well also in a poor lighting situation. My selection was an integrated camera (<span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\"><strong>Surface Laptop 3<\/strong><\/span>) and an external webcam (<span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\"><strong>Logitech Brio<\/strong><\/span>) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">On the left side, we have the number of Lumens in the room<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As you can see in the comparison table below, over 35 Lumens (usually a public area with dark surroundings) there is no noteworthy difference.
